Empowering Young Minds
Ally Project
We care about our young adults, and provide them with mentorship and support. Our youth allies provide aid to our youth as they transition to adulthood by providing guidance, support, and resources. They assist with life skills, education, employment, housing, and emotional well-being to ensure a successful transition into independent living.
Cozy Casa
There is nothing more lonely than sitting in your first apartment with no furniture. Our Cozy Casa program is partnered with CityServe Phoenix to assist aged-out foster youth in obtaining furniture and essential items for their first apartments, making their first apartment feel like HOME.
Best Life Empowerment Workshops
Our B.L.E.W. Workshops are focused on essential life skills such as financial literacy, job readiness, housing navigation, and emotional well-being. They are designed to provide young adults with all the tools they need to be great leaders tomorrow. We are happy to be the driving force behind the development of our young adults, and hope to continue making a difference in their lives.
Glow-Up
A Place 2 Turn knows that when you look good you feel good! We have partnered with beauty schools and barber shops to provide makeovers for aged-out foster children as they transition to adulthood, aiming to boost their confidence and help them prepare for independent living.
Future Funders
Financial health is just as important as physical and mental health. We support our youth on their financial journey by providing educational resources and a savings match program. Our goal is to help these young adults gain the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their finances effectively, achieve financial stability, and build a brighter future for themselves.
Educational and Vocational Assistance
Our educational and vocational assistance allows our young adult to seek a more rewarding life experience by attending college or trade schooling. We acknowledge that schooling beyond high school, prepares them both intellectually and socially, for their career and adult life. From our Back to School events to walking our youth their educational goals, we are here to help every step of the way.
