At A Place 2 Turn, we’re committed to building a society where every young adult can easily realize their potential and achieve their goals. We believe that providing children a nurturing environment is essential to their overall development. Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders, and through personalized attention and guidance we are essentially providing them with all the resources they need to thrive as leaders in years to come.
Meet Our Founder
After years of shuffling through the foster care system, La Ochoa found herself facing the challenges of adulthood. Overcoming many misfortunes, she decided to take control of her future and began to set the foundation of her coming success. Realizing that other youth with similar stories may be faced with specific adversities due to the lack of guidance, she decided to build an organization to support these youth on their journey. Over the years, A Place 2 Turn has grown to offer youth and the community a chance to reach their fullest potential.

Founded in 2021, A Place 2 Turn has become an integral part of the greater Phoenix community. At A Place 2 Turn, we provide unique, life-changing experiences to all of the community’s young minds. We believe in and practice the true act of caring and know how important it is to demonstrate a sincere concern for others. We hold compassion, generosity, and kindness close to our hearts, and go the extra mile to provide our youth with a wide range of opportunities that will allow them to reach their potential.
